Monica Campbell, Ph.D.
Dr. Monica Thompson Campbell is a licensed psychologist and Philadelphia native who has worked in private practice, outpatient mental health, and residential settings during her 20+ year career. Dr. Campbell is the founder, practice owner and lead clinician at Dr. Monica Campbell & Associates, serving individuals throughout Pennsylvania. She completed her predoctoral internship and postdoctoral fellowship through the Harvard University School of Medicine. Dr. Campbell earned Master and Doctoral degrees from Drexel University. She has served as an adjunct professor at universities such as Drexel University, Arcadia University and the University of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Campbell’s therapy approach is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) which helps individuals understand the connection between thoughts, feelings and behavior. She is trained in CBT for Depression, CBT for Insomnia and Cognitive Processing Therapy for the Treatment of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Dr. Campbell is also a highly regarded speaker and educator on mental health and wellness for leaders in healthcare, technology, ministry, fashion and entertainment. When she’s not engaged in professional activities, you can find Dr. Campbell on a ski slope or enjoying time at the beach with her family.
Jade Logan, Ph.D., ABPP
Dr. Jade Logan is a licensed and board-certified clinical psychologist. Her client base is primarily African American women, and her areas of clinical expertise include PTSD related to sexual trauma and intimate partner violence, traumatic stress due to issues of racism and oppression, anxiety and mood disorders, relationship issues, substance abuse, gender identity, and women’s issues. She has provided support groups for women of color who are coping with the stressors of working and/or being educated in predominantly White work and school environments.
Dr. Logan uses a holistic approach to understand how her clients’ presenting concerns impact their overall well-being. Dr. Logan serves as the Chair for the Center of Professional Psychology doctoral and masters programs at Chestnut Hill College. She oversees program development, implementation, and evaluation in order to ensure that both programs maintain their APA MCPAC accreditation status. As an Assistant Professor, Dr. Logan teaches ethics and legal practices, dissertation mentoring, multicultural counseling, and supervision to doctoral clinical psychology students. Finally, Dr. Logan serves on the State Board of Psychology in the state of Pennsylvania as a professional member.
Cheryll Rothery, PsyD, ABPP
Dr. Cheryll Rothery is a licensed and board-certified clinical psychologist and professor with over 35 years of experience in the provision of psychotherapy, teaching, training, supervision, and administration. She utilizes the Relational Cultural model of psychotherapy, a psychodynamic model of healing through relationship, centered in awareness and appreciation of culture and context.
Dr. Rothery is a member of the faculty at Chestnut Hill College’s doctoral psychology program, where she fulfilled the roles of Director of Clinical Training for twenty five years and Chair of the Department of Professional Psychology for twelve years. She has served on the boards of a number of professional psychology organizations, currently an Advisory Board Member for the Psychotherapy Action Network and a Board Member of the Association for the Advancement of Psychodynamic Psychology. Dr. Rothery is also a site visitor for the Commission on Accreditation of the American Psychological Association and an evaluator for the American Board of Clinical Psychology.
Ashley Simmers, LPC
Ashley Simmers, LPC is a Licensed Professional Counselor delivering telehealth services across Pennsylvania. She graduated from Carlow University in 2010 and became licensed as a professional counselor in 2015. She has experience working with clients from many different backgrounds and stages in their life. Ashley’s first experience with counseling came from providing mental health services to incarcerated individuals across Pennsylvania. Her experience has expanded to providing therapeutic services to clients in the community through an eclectic, strength-based approach, pulling from Positive Psychology, Humanistic theory and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Whether you have been in therapy before or it’s your first time in therapy, she can work with you to establish the best path to take. Ashley is ready to get started!
