Psychotherapy in a Safe, Supportive Setting
Psychotherapy is a process of working with a trained mental health professional in a safe, supportive and confidential setting. Through discussion, your therapist provides strategies, support, and encouragement to help you cope with challenges in healthy ways, change unhelpful patterns, and move toward your goals.
We provide virtual psychotherapy for adults, so you can experience appointments from the comfort of your home or wherever you feel most at ease.
At Dr. Monica Campbell & Associates, we use a variety of treatment approaches, including cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and holistic methods.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is an approach that focuses on the relationship between thoughts, feelings, and behavior. All of our therapists are trained in specific modalities aimed at reducing symptoms, helping you reach your goals, and improving your quality of life.

There is no required number of sessions or length of time you must attend therapy. This is a decision that you and your provider will make together. Often therapy will be completed when you reach your goal(s), reduce symptoms, or are managing stress better. You may wish to come to appointments on a weekly, biweekly, monthly, or even quarterly basis, depending on what you are hoping to achieve. Your therapist can also provide suggestions about the frequency of appointments and length of care, depending on the nature of the presenting problem. Please note that therapy is not a "one and done" experience. It may take time for you and your therapist to identify the best path forward for addressing your concerns. Be patient with the process, attend your appointments regularly, and try strategies that your therapist suggests. It will pay off!
